The cottage
An ex-miners cottage, Camperdown Cottage comes with some period features. The oak beams throughout the ground floor and the traditional fireplace in the living room can be lit to give you a timeless feel whilst staying with us.
The Kitchen
The open-plan kitchen/ dining room gives guests a taste of rural life. Featuring a working Rayburn range, a dining table that the family can sit around either to dine or play board games, this room is designed with hosting in mind.

Living Room
The living room gives space for the whole family to enjoy. The wood fire can be lit to give you all a homely feel whilst watching a film on the 32inch tv, or just to have a quiet cup of tea whilst looking through ideas together in our activities folder provided.
Hallway
The hallway in the house is where we have provided a booklet with information on Camperdown for your stay, and leaflets if your looking for things to do. This is also where your four-legged friend(s) would stay should you choose to bring them along with you.

There is also a porch so you can leave your muddy boots outside after exploring the local surroundings, and a downstairs loo. The door in the hallway leads straight into the spacious garden and outside space.

The garden
Camperdown Cottage offers a large garden, complete with outdoor space with seating and a home-built chiminea so you can enjoy summer nights sat outside in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Look over our farmland and the moorland whilst enjoying a well earned rest. We also provide a separate garden for your dog(s) to enjoy, which we ask you to use responsibly.
