The story

Camperdown Cottage is a family-owned and family-run holiday cottage. We converted the Cottage into a holiday property through extensive property maintenance, and hosted our first Guests in October 2022. We aren't a chain holiday cottage company, believing that providing a unique service with finer details is what stands us apart.

The cottage is however a unique cottage. Being an ex-miners cottage, it is off-grid. Electricity is provided through solar panels and water from a natural spring. We do of course still provide wifi and hot water... we've brought the cottage into the 21st century!

Pricing

We ask that guests stay for a minimum of two nights. With so much to see & do, we don't want you to go home feeling like you have rushed your holiday with us.

Prices vary on the length of time you choose to stay with us. If you want to stay with us for a different length of time, please contact us to discuss this.

Pricing is as follows:

2 nights - £280

4 nights - £550

7 nights - £800
